When do you need us?
- The door has slammed shut with the keys inside.
- You have lost your keys or they have been stolen.
- The key has broken inside the cylinder.
- The lock is jammed and the key will not turn.
How we do it
- We check your identity and that you are entitled to enter the home or premises.
- If the door has only slammed shut, we open it using techniques that do not damage the door or the lock.
- If it was locked with the key, we explain the options and the price before touching anything.
- If you have lost your keys, we recommend replacing the cylinder during the same visit.

Frequently asked questions
Can you open the door without breaking it?
For most doors that have slammed shut, yes. If the door was locked with the key, the cylinder sometimes has to be replaced; we will tell you before starting.
What do I need to have my door opened?
A document showing that you live there or are entitled to enter (ID with the address, rental contract, utility bill, etc.). If your documents are inside, we check them once the door is open.
